No surprises. Here's the whole deal.
We'd rather you know exactly what you're walking into. Most of what we ask for isn't us being difficult. It's what the law and the insurers require to deliver for money. Here's all of it in plain language, plus the one big way we keep it fair to you.
What you'll need, and why it's required
Commercial coverage on every active delivery.
Delivering for money isn't covered by an ordinary personal auto policy. Insurers exclude delivering for hire, and you're required to carry commercial coverage while you work. So every run has to be covered. Use your own commercial policy and pay us nothing, or ride our per-mile program, charged at the insurer's exact rate with no markup and only while you're actually on a delivery. It isn't a Drivesey fee. It's the cost of being legally covered, passed straight through. See the cheapest ways to get covered.

A background and driving-record check.
You're picking up goods and showing up at someone's door, so the platform and the insurance behind it require a check first, the same as every delivery app does. It's regulated. You consent to it, you see the result, and you can dispute an error. A licensed screening company runs it, not us poking around. You pay for your own, and it's yours to keep and reuse.

Your identity, and a way to get paid.
To pay you, and to meet the rules around moving money, we confirm who you are and connect your bank through Stripe, the same ID-and-photo step used across the industry. We never see or store your license or bank details. Stripe handles all of it.

The one thing that isn't a rule, and it's in your favor
You keep 100% of every bid until you've delivered $300.
Getting started costs you a little up front, that background check. So here's how we make it square. We take nothing, not a cent of our usual 10%, until you've completed $300 of deliveries. You keep every dollar you bid. By then you've more than earned back what you put in, and only then does our cut begin. We don't make a dollar off you until you're ahead.

How the money works after that
You set your own price.
You bid what a run is worth to you. We never set or suggest a price, the market does. After the first $300, our cut is a flat 10% of the delivery, and that's it. Tips and wait fees are 100% yours, always. (The $1 platform fee on a delivery is paid by the customer, never out of your earnings.)

And what we don't do
No games, no boss.
There's no acceptance-rate score, so turning down a job costs you nothing. No shifts and no manager either. You set your own hours and are free to drive for anyone, because you're an independent contractor running your own business. And we only use your location while you're on an active delivery, never otherwise.
